8 Titans teams advance to 2020-21 AYHL Playoffs this weekend

Eight Titans' teams have advanced to the Atlantic Youth Hockey League’s (AYHL) playoffs that begin Saturday, March 20 and conclude on Monday, March 22. The games will be held at Ice Line and Oaks Center Ice.

The teams that have advanced are: U10 Major American; U12 Minor American; U14 Minor American; U14 Major American; U15 National Elite; U16 National Premier; U16 American, and U18 National Premier.

The U18 National premier team finished in fourth place with an 8 – 6 record for 16 points. The top four teams in the league in each division (Premier and Elite) based on regular season league play will qualify. The format: Single game elimination, (1 v 4 & 2 v 3) winners will advance to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U16 National Premier team finished in fourth with a 7-8-2 record for 16 points. The top four teams in the league in each division (Premier and Elite) based on regular season league play will qualify. The format: Single game elimination, (1 v 4 & 2 v 3) winners will advance to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U16 American team advanced to the playoffs.  The top four teams in the league will qualify based on regular season league play. The format: Round robin with two highest seeded teams advancing to Championship game. The highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U15 Pure National Elite team finished in third place with a 7-8-5-1 record for 20 points. The top four teams in the league in each division (Premier and Elite) based on regular season league play will qualify. The format: Single game elimination, (1 v 4 & 2 v 3) winners will advance to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U14 Major American team advanced to the playoffs. The top four teams in the league, in the division, based on regular season league play will qualify. The format: Single game elimination, (1 v 4 & 2 v 3) winners will advance to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U14 Minor American team reached the playoffs. The top four teams in the league, in the division, based on regular season league play will qualify. The format: Single game elimination, (1 v 4 & 2 v 3) winners will advance to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U12 Minor American team finished in first place with a 17-1-1 record for 35 points. The top four teams in the league at each level (Major and Minor), in each division (National and American) will qualify based on regular season league play. The format: Round robin at each level with two highest seeded teams advancing to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.

The U10 Major American team rounds out the eighth Titans team to advance to the playoffs. Top four teams in the league at each level (Major and Minor) in each division (National and American) will qualify based on regular season league play. The format: Round robin at each level with two highest seeded teams advancing to divisional Championship game. Highest seed is the home team for all games.
