Titans announce its Titans Academy to be a founding member of the new North East Scholastic Hockey League

The New Jersey Titans Hockey Program is pleased to announce that its Titans Academy will be a founding member of the newly formed North East Scholastic Hockey League (NESHL), an Academy Preparatory League. The new league is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2021.

The premise of the NESHL is to provide players and clubs priority attention at league showcase events. There will U18 and U16 divisions.

“This new league will provide players and organizations a much needed, intimate attention driven league where the players and clubs are the number one priority” stated league President George Haviland. “The goal is to have all the players in one location with prime-time game slots so players can get the maximum exposure while participating at the event” concluded Haviland.

The NESHL consists of seven founding members who share a like-minded approach to both academics and hockey with exposure, high quality play and strong relationships as its cornerstone. The founding eight teams are: A21 Academy (Windsor, ON Canada); QC Canada); Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH); Le Sommet Hockey Academy (Hawkesbury, ON Canada); Maine Nordiques Academy (Lewiston, ME); New Jersey Titans Academy (Middletown, NJ); Northeast Generals Academy (Attleboro, MA), and Ulysse Academie (Laval, QC Canada).

The NESHL teams will compete in four showcase events: October 22 – 24 at in Middletown, NJ; November 12 – 14 in Laval, QC); January 7 – 9 in Attleboro, MA (which also is the league’s all-star game and NCAA Presentation) and February 4 – 6 in Middletown (league playoffs).
