Titans announce Girls’ Players of the Week for Week Ending January 10

The New Jersey Titans are pleased to announce the Girls’ Players of the Week for Week Ending January 10, 2021. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Tier 2 19U - Peyton Liebross– First Star
Liebross opened the first weekend back to game play with two goals in the Saturday January 9th game against the Montclair Blues. Her second goal came in overtime to give the win to the Titans in the MAWHA League game.  Peyton also scored a goal on Sunday in the game against the Iron Bound 17U Elite team.

Tier 2 19U – Michelle McCabe – Second Star
McCabe started the weekend back to game play with a goal in the Saturday, January 9th game against the Montclair Blues.  Her goal in the second period tied up the score, and the game ended up in overtime at the end of the third period.  The NJ Titans were able to bring home the win in overtime in the first MAWHA league game vs the Blues.  Michelle also had an assist in the Sunday game vs Ironbound 17U Elite.

Tier 2 16U - Lauren Rennie – First Star
On Saturday, Lauren had a great game offensively and contributed to several scoring opportunities. On Sunday, she had a great game in the defensive zone and even played a period on defense.

Tier 2 16U - Elly OScanlon – Second Star
Elly started this season as a wing and has made a seamless transition to defense. She is always a positive energy on and off the ice. On Sunday, Elly contributed a lot to the teams' defensive zone positioning.

Tier 1 14U - Ava Pirrello – First Star
Pirrello had a great first weekend back to game play at Middletown Sports Complex.  She scored 2 goals in Saturday mornings game against the NJ Colonials Blue team.  One on and assist from Linhsey Covert, and one on a breakaway burying the puck in the back of the net.  Ava has been a real asset to the 14U T1 team this season.  She is quick on the ice with the ability not only to skate the puck up and shoot on net but also making fast decisions to create scoring opportunities for the team.

Tier 1 14U - Danna Ramadan – Second Star
Ramadan played a great game this first weekend back to game play. She was calm, quick, and showed agility in net against the NJ Colonials 14U Blue team Saturday morning at Middletown Sports Complex.  Tracking the puck well and only letting in two goals on 28 shots.  She made some big saves to keep the NJ Colonials team from taking a win.
